Cecilia Bione (Bologna, 1970), graduated from the IUAV University in Venice in 1997.
After working in Italy and abroad, in 2011 she has been self-employed working without leaving teaching and research.
In 1999 she began to collaborate on Parametro, International review of Architecture and Urban Planning, as editor-in-chief and from 2004 to 2008 its vice director.
She published several articles on architecture journals and she published in 2009 the volume “Cultural Centres. Architectures 1990-2011” (Motta Ed.), that was translated in French and Englis and got in 2010 the Prize Thorlet awarded by theAcadémie des Beaux- Arts, Institut de France.
She has been teaching at the Faculty of Architecture in Alghero and since 2008 is teaching at Accademia di Belle Arti di Bologna.
